Wait I didn't mean...

Have you ever gone to share something with someone, a few pieces from say a box with quantity thirty pieces inside and they take the whole box and say "Oh, thank you, and what a lovely tin in comes in" That just happened to me on the way to breakfast while passing a neighbor on their front porch. I know I only have myself to blame since I wasn't specific and to them it probably appeared like I had plenty to go around (since I was carrying three boxes total) but I guess I'm extra miffed at myself since these items were already in contention with the person that brought them to the country for me. Oh well, it's not like I can ask for some back or anything. Just suck it up. And look like a generous person vs. a stingy bitch. Blah.
