Slacker

Upset that I'm not posting enough? Well, Screw you, I'm on vacation. Actually I worked almost every day for the last three weeks leading up to vacation and have really just eaten and slept during my single off day per week. And now I'm catching up on all the crap I've been putting off for a long time. Like the work that I bitched about earlier that was mandated by the city inspector. Not really good things to ignore. Those fines and threats of jail time

And here's a funny story. I sold my truck a month ago and the new owners had the chutzpah to call and ask me to pay half the bill to repair the tranmission that just broke down in Nebraska on the way to Mexico. At first I actually considered sending them some small token cause they were really nice and have a special needs child etc, then I'm like, wait a cottonpickin' minute here. I haven't even seen this vehicle in a month, hasn't even been in the same county as me, I told them about all the tiny, surface things that I knew about. So why should I be responsible for them making sure this vehicle was ready/able for a thousand plus mile road trip? How can you predict that a transmission is about to go out when there were not obvious signs when I drove it to BFE* to deliver it a month ago? Anywho.
