Great MN Get Together

So yesterday I got two hours of sleep in the morning and then went to pick up my coworker at work at o'dark thirty. I wanted to go to use the Park and Ride at the U of M but little did I know he's deathly afraid of motorcycles. Which until I get tabs on my last car, all my transportation is two wheeled. So another coworker dropped him off at the park and ride and we went together. Stayed until about 10am and then took the shuttle back. Came home, tried to post for ya and my power went out. Took a nap, woke up and chatted with dad for awhile, then went back to the Fair for some supper. Home after another three hours, this time much more crowded GRRR but still fun. Got to see some things that coworker didn't want to bother with.

Some facts for you:
Today in 1901 Vice President Theodore Roosevelt gave a speech at the MN State Fair. You might be familiar with it, "Speak softly and carry a big stick".

Speaking of sticks there are 864 items on a stick at the Fair.

Yesterday which was Senior Day/Thursday is traditionally the least attended day of the Fair. (No wonder I prefer it - plus I go during the day while the chumps are at work, anywho)

Have a good one Peeps!
