Busy Weekend

Of course, much work, including overtime has occured. But one of my rare single vacation days was last night. It didn't help that I was up all morning having breakfast with some coworkers after shift and had plans all evening but it was nice to get so much socializing done with friends. My L Word group got together and watched the season finale, which I had already seen but was still good. Unfortunately one of our friends who had also already seen it, couldn't stop talking about it during the viewing and ruining for those friends who had never watched it yet. But that's just her, and there's nothing I can do about it for two weeks. After Pride, the gloves come off! Well I don't mean physical confrontation, just we have some events in common between now and then that can't be avoided, so afterwards we can float together when it suits us and just not hang out much except special occasions. After that I talked to a friend L and convinced her to come to Sunday str8 Nite, as she has just passed her motorcycle safety course earlier in the day and I had a present for some Congrats. Also got to socialize with one person that doesn't usually attend Sundays anymore (I hear she used to go back at the CC Club) and I hope that changes since the conversation the five of us were having had a great flow and different ideas all around. After the group broke up L and myself went to play some pool at the 19 and really get into deep conversation. I really wonder what a conversation with her and another L friend and myself would run into. They have simliar views to each other that differ from me and other views that I just can't comprehend and yet fancinate me at the same time on the topic (butch/femme). I wonder if there's anything we agree on? Another time. Maybe at the 10-9-8 party next month. Anywho, got chores to do before work.
