Now it's really spring

It was very busy at work last night. And of course I was exhausted since I was trying to get up so early to go for a bike ride and walk with some friends. SO even though I tried to take a nap before work, it just wasn't enough.

On Wednesday I tried to pick up Little up from school and he forgot again. This makes the third time in a row. Not like someone who is only seven should be expected to remember everything, but it sucks sitting there. I talked to his teacher and found out which door they normally go out so I can bypass the whole parent permission note action and just get him before he gets on the bus. And of course when I tried to talk to his mom about it she just got all defensive and said that teacher hates her and made excuses. I hate it when people just can't own up to their own part of the responsibility and set a good example. And geez, none of this would really be a problem if they had a phone so I could call the night before and say, "Don't forget I'm picking you up from school tomorrow" Oh well.

Gotta balance the checkbook before bed. And of course not enough nap time since I want to go for another bike ride and walk today before work. blah.
