Winter Sporting
I had the flu yesterday and threw up all morning but went to work last night anyways. I'm that hardcore! Well today was our last official broomball game. Rescheduled during this frigid weekend after being cancelled three weeks ago due to thin ice during a nice weekend. SO that's what's been hogging up my weekends for the past six weeks. Now just pickup games on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons as long as the ice lasts.
Work is hectic as usual, contract negotiations are in mediation and finally about to go to arbitration so that's freeing up some time. And now I'm on the Labor Management committee. So more of dealing with the same people I've been arguing with for four months, but I have to let that go and just be a team player. We'll see how that goes. So now technically I'm reduced to two mandatory monthly meetings with 2-3 others scheduled in there.
Oh, and I'm teaching a class for two days coming up and then taking one of those students under my wing in a coaching phase for a month.
And increasing my weekly biking mileage in preperation for the Ironman Bike Ride in April.
In addition to having a mini-crush on someone new and trying to hang out with her.
All in all, life is good.
