When did that happen?!?

Did you ever wake up and find out that you had a girlfriend/boyfriend/whatever develop overnight and you're not really sure how? I mean we've all had the "Oh, I thought you were dating you were hanging out so much" kinda mistaken identity and you and the other person look at each other and laugh. But what about when one person laughs (me) and the other person keeps talking about their great new girlfriend? Hopefully I'll be able to see her after dinner tonight and organize some things that I thought were clear but apparantly weren't. I mean I used the excuse of last night's snow for not going out but really it's because I didn't want to see her alone. Cruddy, yes. But I wasn't ready to deal.
