The Weekender

More busy weekend junk. Saturday I went out with some coworkers and got my drink on. It's been a long time since I was out of the house and not at work. Had Little TJ's for "breakfast" and walked home from there. Also got approached by three different guys during my stroll. Glad to know I still look hookerific!

And I missed the tropical fish show I wanted to go to with a friend. Big pout. Dad finally bought his Mac-mini since I wasn't there to deter him. So I now get this Piece for my personal use. Saw my Sunday Nite Str8 friends at a new location. Not that much further, there's actually some available parking for all of them and it's super easy to get to work from there, which is nice. I voted for a permanant change since the old place doesn't really suit us anymore and they don't have drink specials on Sundays anymore which is one of the big reasons the gang went there in the first place.

And is it wrong that I want to go to this at the Science Musuem? I guess I'm still a nerdy learnin' girl at heart. Nitey-nite!

I knew I felt a youthful spirit this week!

You Are 23 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

Do you, uh, Lesbionick?

Okay that's the slogan created for me when I put in my name in the automatic slogan generator. I've had fun playing with that this morning.

I'm training at work so I'm stressed. And naturally no end in immediate future.
The snow is making traveling difficult. I've had to do three mini-tuneups on my bike in the past ten days. That's lame. And haven't been able to take a big ride in the same amount of time. Also tres lame.

Found a tenant for the first floor. Wasn't looking, said maybe to a friend, then he said would have to think about it and that it probably wasn't going to happen due to costs, and then said he'd take it cause there just wasn't anything remotely in the same range value-wise. So now I have some paperwork to get ready to go. But YAY!

Bedtime. *Yawn*

Quick update

As I sit here hemming and hawing about new tenants I of course read yet another horror story about tenants trashing the place. Just not what I needed this morning.

I'm teaching some dispatcher trainee's, and for the most part it went well except for the fact that once again they don't value the training process and we got pulled out of class to hit the floor for staffing shortages. GRRR. Add that to the fact that they had already wanted me to work overtime until 0645 when I had been downtown for meetings since 1645. I love 14 hour shifts. Hopefully tonight will go better. I somehow doubt it, especially since it's Friday night.

Bedtime for bobo's.

Well that's a fine howdoyoudo!

What's good for the Bonobo's is good for the Bobo's? I think that kind of greeting would cause extinction for me if you greeted the wrong person. Then again you sure would have foreknowledge of results of foreplay. Food for thought.

Saturday night was broomball party for team 1 at friend's house. Was also my monthly poker party. I had plans to do both until I started watching this movie on TV which I thought fit right into my schedule but turned out to be FOUR HOURS LONG. Making the point at which I arrived at one party the time I had planned to leave for party #2. So I ended up missing poker. It's hell being social. At least poker is again next month, broomball party is annual.

Last broomball game was yesterday. Well it's going to be warm and rainy most of this week so that means no ice. I guess there could be some mudball but it just doesn't sound as fun, especially since I'm bad at keeping up with laundry in the first place. OTL with 2 of my teammates at one of my favorite places (Tea House in Plymouth) then home again. And of course during the drive was a Violent Femmes song which had all three of us singing along.

Sunday nite Str8 friends defected to a place called Eli's. Twas spendy and yet delish! I did hug my prego friend but I hadn't yet learned about the Bonobo greeting. I kinda think it would have creeped us all out just a little bit. Then to biked the rest of the way to work in the misty mountain hops. Ok, no hops. Just mist. Seriously now, gimme a freakin break here!
